Create bold, dimensional and professional garment designs with STAHLS' Puff Navy Heat Transfer Vinyl – Navy 350. This premium navy puff HTV expands when heat pressed, producing a soft, raised and rounded 3D effect that adds impressive depth and texture to logos, lettering, numbers and graphic designs.
STAHLS' Puff Navy 350 is an excellent choice when ordinary flat heat transfer vinyl does not provide enough visual impact. During application, the material expands to create a distinctive three-dimensional finish that can both be seen and felt. The deep navy blue colour gives garments a sophisticated, timeless and professional appearance, making it particularly suitable for fashion, workwear, sportswear, club clothing and premium merchandise.
The rich Navy 350 colour gives garment designs a refined and versatile appearance. Navy blue works particularly well with white, cream, light grey, beige and other lighter fabrics, where it creates a strong yet elegant contrast. It can also be used on darker garments for understated tone-on-tone designs where the raised texture becomes the main visual feature.
This navy heat transfer vinyl is ideal for company logos, club names, initials, monograms, slogans, jersey numbers and bold typography. Its combination of colour and texture makes it especially attractive for businesses, clothing brands, sports clubs and professional garment decorators seeking a finish that stands out from conventional vinyl printing.
STAHLS' Puff HTV is engineered to expand when exposed to heat. During pressing, the material rises above the fabric surface and forms a smooth, rounded finish. This gives even relatively simple artwork a more luxurious and distinctive appearance.
The puff effect is particularly effective on hoodies, sweatshirts, streetwear, fashion garments and merchandise, where larger areas and heavier fabrics provide an excellent foundation for dimensional decoration.
For the best results, designs should contain bold shapes, wide lines and sufficiently large elements. STAHLS recommends a minimum line width of approximately 8 mm. Very small lettering, extremely thin lines and intricate details should be avoided or thoroughly test cut before production.
STAHLS' Puff Navy 350 is especially well suited to heavier garments such as sweatshirts and hoodies. Use it for large back prints, chest logos, sleeve graphics, slogans, monograms and limited-edition merchandise.
When applying the material close to seams, pockets, zips or other raised areas, use a suitable heat press pillow where necessary to ensure even pressure across the complete design.
STAHLS' Puff Navy 350 can be cut using a standard vinyl cutter or cutting plotter. The artwork must be mirror cut before application. Because the material is approximately 520 microns thick, blade depth, cutting pressure and speed should be adjusted to suit both the vinyl and the cutting machine.
Always perform a small test cut before starting production. The blade should cut cleanly through the puff material without damaging the carrier underneath. Once cut, weed away the excess vinyl while leaving the finished design securely attached to the pressure-sensitive carrier.
Position the weeded design onto the garment with the carrier facing upwards. Make sure that the artwork is straight and correctly positioned before heat pressing.
The exact puff height can vary according to the garment, temperature, pressing time and pressure. Always test the material on the actual fabric before beginning a larger production run. Avoid unnecessary repressing, as repeated heat and pressure may flatten or reduce the raised effect.
Polyester garments should always be tested for heat sensitivity and possible dye migration, particularly when working with strongly coloured or sublimated fabrics.
To help maintain the raised surface and adhesion of your navy puff heat transfer vinyl, allow the garment to rest for approximately 24 hours before its first wash and follow the garment manufacturer's care instructions.
STAHLS' Puff Navy Heat Transfer Vinyl – Navy 350 is the ideal choice for garment decorators looking to create designs with greater depth, texture and premium visual impact. The material transforms conventional logos and lettering into raised designs with a distinctive three-dimensional finish while maintaining a professional appearance.
The timeless navy blue shade makes it highly versatile for corporate clothing, sportswear, streetwear, fashion, workwear and branded merchandise. Combined with efficient Hot Peel application and compatibility with professional cutting plotters and heat presses, STAHLS' Puff Navy 350 is an excellent addition to any garment decoration workshop.
