The film has a self-adhesive carrier, which keeps even small letters, fine lines and detailed designs securely in place during weeding, positioning and pressing.

          The self-adhesive carrier also makes it possible to reposition smaller details if they are accidentally lifted during weeding. This makes CAD-CUT SportsFilm particularly suitable for logos, names, numbers, text and complex graphic designs where precision is essential.

          The carrier film is removed hot using Hot Peel immediately after pressing. This reduces waiting time between each print and ensures a fast and efficient workflow.

          Two alternative application settings

          Working with STAHLS' CAD-CUT SportsFilm is simple and requires only a few steps:

          • Create the design in your design software.
          • Mirror the design before cutting.
          • Cut the design in the film using a cutting plotter.
          • Remove the excess film around the design.
          • Position the design on the textile with the film side facing down.
          • Press once at either 130 °C for 10 seconds or 150 °C for 5 seconds.
          • Remove the carrier film hot immediately after pressing.

          For weeding, we recommend using the STAHLS' Weeder®. During heat pressing, a Grip cover sheet or a non-stick coated cover sheet can be used to protect both the textile and the heat press.
