Textiles may have different coatings, surface treatments and heat tolerances. Always perform a test application before beginning a larger production run, especially when working with coated nylon, performance fabrics or dye-sublimated polyester.
Premium Plus differs from many standard heat transfer vinyl products because it can also be applied to 100% nylon. This makes Yellow 110 suitable for sports bags, jackets, outerwear, club clothing and other nylon products.
When applying the film to nylon, allow both the design and garment to cool completely before removing the carrier. Nylon may be treated with water-repellent or dirt-resistant coatings, so an adhesion test should always be completed before production.
The adhesive carrier makes CAD-CUT Premium Plus easy to handle, even when a design contains small letters, thin lines or multiple separate elements. The design remains securely attached to the carrier while excess vinyl is removed.
This helps reduce weeding time and ensures that every element remains correctly aligned before heat application. Premium Plus can be cut using most standard vinyl cutters and is suitable for both small personalised orders and professional garment production.
Cut the design in reverse using a vinyl cutter. Weed away the excess material, then position the design on the garment with the clear adhesive carrier facing upwards.
Apply Premium Plus using one of the following settings:
Medium pressure corresponds to approximately level 4–6 on a Hotronix® heat press. On cotton, polyester and other standard recommended fabrics, remove the carrier while hot. When applying to 100% nylon, use Cold Peel and wait until the garment has cooled completely.
