Different fabrics may contain coatings, waterproof treatments or heat-sensitive fibres that can affect adhesion. Always test the vinyl on the specific garment before beginning a larger production run.
Unlike many standard garment vinyls, Premium Plus can also be applied to 100% nylon. This makes Sunflower Yellow 321 suitable for nylon jackets, sports bags, club clothing, lightweight outerwear and other coated or technical products.
When applying Premium Plus to nylon, allow the garment and transfer to cool completely before removing the carrier. The liner must be removed using the Cold Peel method. Nylon materials may have water-resistant or dirt-repellent coatings, so an application test is always recommended.
The pressure-sensitive carrier makes CAD-CUT Premium Plus easy to work with, even when designs contain small letters, thin lines or multiple separate details. The adhesive carrier holds each element securely in place while the excess vinyl is removed.
Premium Plus can be cut using most standard vinyl cutters and cutting plotters. Remember to mirror the design before cutting. Its straightforward processing makes it suitable for both small creative workshops and professional garment-printing businesses producing larger quantities.
Cut the design in reverse, weed away the unwanted vinyl and position the transfer on the garment with the transparent carrier facing upwards.
Apply Premium Plus using one of the following settings:
Medium pressure is approximately level 4–6 on a Hotronix® heat press. On cotton, polyester and other standard compatible fabrics, remove the carrier while hot. When applying the vinyl to 100% nylon, allow the transfer to cool completely before removing the carrier.
