Textiles may have coatings, treatments or heat-sensitive properties that affect adhesion. A test application should therefore always be completed before beginning a larger production run.
Unlike many standard heat transfer films, Premium Plus is suitable for application to 100% nylon. This makes Purple 280 useful for decorating sports bags, jackets, club clothing, lightweight outerwear and other nylon products.
When applying the vinyl to nylon, allow the garment and transfer to cool completely before removing the carrier. Nylon may also have water-resistant or dirt-repellent coatings, so testing the material beforehand is essential to confirm suitable adhesion.
The adhesive carrier makes Premium Plus easy to handle, even when working with small letters, thin lines and designs containing several separate elements. Details remain securely positioned while the unwanted material is removed, helping to make weeding faster and more accurate.
The film is compatible with standard vinyl cutters and cutting plotters, making it suitable for hobby users, clothing decorators, print shops and professional sign-making businesses.
Cut the design in mirror image, remove the excess vinyl and position the transfer on the garment with the adhesive carrier facing upwards. Premium Plus can be applied using either of the following settings:
Medium pressure corresponds to approximately level 4–6 on a Hotronix® heat press. On cotton, polyester and other standard compatible fabrics, remove the carrier while hot. When decorating 100% nylon, use Cold Peel and wait until the transfer has cooled completely.
Use Purple 280 for company logos, sports numbers, club names, personalised workwear, fashion designs, promotional clothing and creative merchandise. It is suitable for T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, polo shirts, sports tops, training wear, jackets, bags and many other compatible textile products.
For the best durability, wait at least 24 hours before washing the decorated garment. Wash at no more than 60°C, turn the garment inside out and avoid bleach or aggressive chemicals. Always follow the care instructions supplied by the garment manufacturer.
