Textiles may have different coatings, finishes and heat tolerances. Always carry out a test application before beginning a larger production run, particularly when decorating treated, water-resistant or performance fabrics.
Unlike many standard heat transfer vinyl products, Premium Plus can also be used on 100% nylon. This makes Pastel Pink 255 suitable for selected jackets, sports bags, club clothing and lightweight accessories.
When applying the vinyl to nylon, allow both the textile and transfer to cool completely before removing the carrier. The liner must be removed using a Cold Peel process. As nylon garments can contain water-repellent or dirt-resistant coatings, a test press is essential to confirm satisfactory adhesion.
The adhesive carrier makes CAD-CUT Premium Plus easy to handle when working with small letters, thin lines and designs containing several separate elements. The cut components remain firmly positioned while the unwanted vinyl is removed.
This helps reduce weeding time and makes accurate placement on the garment easier. The film is compatible with standard vinyl cutting plotters and is suitable for one-off personalised products, short production runs and professional high-volume garment decoration.
Cut the design in reverse using a suitable cutting plotter. Weed away the excess material and position the transfer on the garment with the clear adhesive carrier facing upwards.

Medium pressure is approximately level 4–6 on a Hotronix® heat press. On cotton, polyester and other standard compatible fabrics, remove the adhesive carrier while hot. For 100% nylon, use Cold Peel and wait until the material has cooled completely.
