STAHLS' CAD-CUT Premium Plus is developed for textile applications where flexibility and comfort are important. The thin polyurethane film follows the natural movement of the fabric, making it particularly suitable for sportswear, activewear and garments containing Lycra®, spandex or other elastic fibres.
Because the vinyl is only 90 microns thick, it is also an excellent option for large back prints, company logos, club graphics and decorative illustrations. The finished transfer remains soft and flexible instead of creating a thick or stiff surface.

Textiles may contain coatings, waterproof treatments or heat-sensitive fibres that can affect adhesion. A test application should therefore always be carried out before beginning a larger production run.
Unlike many standard garment vinyl products, STAHLS' Premium Plus Pastel Mint 370 can also be used on 100% nylon. This makes it suitable for decorating sports bags, lightweight jackets, club clothing, accessories and selected outdoor garments.
When applying Premium Plus to nylon, allow the garment and transfer to cool completely before removing the carrier. Nylon materials can have water-repellent or dirt-resistant surface treatments, so testing the adhesion is essential before production.
The adhesive carrier makes Premium Plus easy to handle when producing small lettering, thin lines and detailed designs. Individual elements remain securely attached to the carrier while unwanted vinyl is removed, helping to maintain the correct position of every part of the artwork.
Premium Plus can be cut using common vinyl cutters and craft cutting machines. Always mirror the design before cutting and place the matt vinyl side upwards, with the clear carrier facing downwards on the cutting mat or plotter.
After cutting and weeding the mirrored design, position it on the garment with the transparent adhesive carrier facing upwards. Apply the transfer using one of the following settings:
Medium pressure corresponds to approximately level 4–6 on a Hotronix® heat press. Remove the carrier while hot when applying to cotton, polyester and other standard recommended fabrics. For 100% nylon, allow the transfer to cool completely and remove the carrier cold.
