Some textiles may contain coatings, water-repellent treatments or heat-sensitive fibres. A test application should therefore always be carried out before beginning a larger production run.
The adhesive carrier makes Premium Plus easy to handle when cutting small letters, thin lines or designs containing several separate elements. The individual parts remain securely attached to the carrier while the excess vinyl is removed.
For cutting, place the material in the vinyl cutter with the carrier side facing down and cut the design in reverse. After weeding, position the transfer on the garment with the transparent carrier facing upwards.
CAD-CUT Premium Plus can be used with most standard vinyl cutters, making it suitable for professional sign companies, garment decorators, sports clubs, schools, small businesses and creative studios.
Apply Premium Plus using one of the following settings:
Medium pressure is approximately level 4–6 on a Hotronix® heat press. On cotton, polyester and other standard recommended fabrics, remove the adhesive carrier while hot.
When applying the vinyl to 100% nylon, allow the garment and transfer to cool completely before carefully removing the carrier. Nylon fabrics may have water-resistant coatings that affect adhesion, so testing is particularly important.
