One of the major advantages of Premium Plus heat transfer vinyl is its compatibility with 100% nylon. This expands the range of potential applications to include jackets, sports bags, team clothing and other nylon products.
When applying Premium Plus to nylon, allow both the garment and transfer to cool completely before removing the carrier. This Cold Peel process differs from standard compatible fabrics, where the carrier can normally be removed hot.
Some nylon fabrics contain water-resistant or dirt-resistant treatments that may affect adhesion, so testing the specific garment before production is always recommended.
The adhesive carrier makes CAD-CUT Premium Plus easy to process, even when designs include small lettering, thin lines or numerous individual details. Design elements stay securely in position while excess vinyl is removed, helping make the weeding process quicker and more accurate.

Cut the design in mirror image using a suitable vinyl cutter. Weed away the excess material and position the transfer onto the garment with the adhesive carrier facing upwards.

Medium pressure is approximately level 4–6 when using a Hotronix® heat press.
For cotton, polyester and other standard recommended textiles, remove the adhesive carrier hot. When applying to 100% nylon, use Cold Peel and wait until the garment has completely cooled before removing the carrier.
