One of the key advantages of Premium Plus is its suitability for 100% nylon. This makes it useful for lightweight jackets, sports bags, outerwear, team clothing and other nylon products.
When applying the vinyl to nylon, allow the garment and transfer to cool completely before removing the carrier. On standard recommended fabrics, the carrier can normally be removed hot. Waterproof or dirt-resistant fabric treatments may affect adhesion, so a test press is always recommended.
The pressure-sensitive carrier keeps the cut design securely in place while excess material is removed. This makes Premium Plus easier to weed when working with small letters, narrow lines, detailed logos and designs containing several separate elements.
The vinyl is suitable for common cutting plotters. Cut the design in reverse and adjust the blade so that only the heat transfer vinyl is cut, not the transparent carrier. The sticky carrier also allows misplaced elements to be repositioned before heat application.
Cut the design as a mirror image, weed away the excess vinyl and place the transfer on the garment with the carrier facing upwards. Premium Plus can be applied using either of the following settings:
Medium pressure corresponds approximately to level 4–6 on a Hotronix® heat press. Remove the carrier hot on cotton, polyester and other standard recommended fabrics. For 100% nylon, allow the transfer to cool fully and remove the carrier cold.
