Fabric coatings, waterproof treatments and heat sensitivity can affect adhesion. Always carry out a test press on the actual garment before beginning a larger production run.
Unlike many standard garment printing films, Premium Plus can also be used on 100% nylon. This makes Burgundy 270 suitable for decorating sports bags, jackets, lightweight outerwear, team clothing and selected nylon accessories.
When applying the film to nylon, allow the design and garment to cool completely before removing the carrier. Nylon materials may have water-resistant or dirt-repellent coatings, so adhesion testing is strongly recommended.
The adhesive carrier keeps small letters, narrow lines and separate design elements securely in position during weeding. This makes CAD-CUT Premium Plus Burgundy 270 suitable for both simple graphics and more detailed designs.
The film can be cut using most standard vinyl cutting plotters. Remember to mirror the artwork before cutting. Remove the unwanted material, position the design with the clear carrier facing upwards and apply it using a suitable heat press.
For multi-colour designs, use short tack presses for the initial layers and apply the complete pressing time to the final layer. A non-stick cover sheet can help protect previously applied vinyl and the heat press platen.
