With its matt surface, soft feel and highly elastic construction, Premium Plus Berry 253 is an excellent choice for decorating sportswear, workwear, team clothing, promotional garments, fashion collections and personalised textiles. The film is only 90 microns thick, allowing it to move naturally with the fabric without creating a heavy or rigid printed area.
The adhesive carrier makes this textile vinyl easy to cut, weed and position, even when working with small lettering, fine lines or detailed graphics. Premium Plus can also be applied to a wide range of fabrics, including cotton, polyester, nylon, satin, polyester mesh and Lycra® or spandex blends.
Berry 253 heat transfer vinyl offers a deep and vibrant colour that sits between raspberry pink, purple and rich red. It adds energy and character to logos, lettering, names, numbers and decorative graphics, making it particularly effective for fashion, sports and promotional applications.
The sophisticated matt finish gives the colour a clean and professional appearance. Berry 253 looks especially striking on black, white, grey, navy, pale pink and purple textiles. STAHLS' CAD-CUT Premium Plus has been developed for applications where flexibility and comfort are essential. Its thin 90-micron construction creates a soft print that does not feel excessively stiff, even when applied as a large back print or oversized graphic.
The elastic film follows the movement of the fabric and returns to its original shape after stretching. This makes Premium Plus Berry 253 particularly suitable for sports shirts, training tops, dancewear, activewear and garments containing Lycra®, spandex or other stretch fibres.

Textiles may have different coatings, waterproof treatments or heat sensitivities. A test application should therefore always be completed before starting a larger production run.
One of the major advantages of STAHLS' Premium Plus HTV is its suitability for 100% nylon. This makes Berry 253 useful for decorating sports bags, lightweight jackets, teamwear and other nylon products.
When applying the film to nylon, allow the garment and design to cool completely before removing the carrier. The carrier must be removed using the Cold Peel method. For standard recommended fabrics such as cotton and polyester, the carrier can normally be removed hot.
Some nylon materials have water-resistant or dirt-resistant coatings that may reduce adhesion. Always perform a wash and adhesion test on the specific product before full production.
The adhesive carrier helps keep letters, lines and individual design elements securely positioned while excess vinyl is removed. This makes CAD-CUT Premium Plus easy to weed, even when producing detailed logos, small text or designs containing several separate components.
Berry 253 can be cut using most professional and desktop cutting plotters. Always mirror the artwork before cutting. Once the excess film has been weeded away, place the design on the garment with the clear carrier facing upwards.
STAHLS' CAD-CUT Premium Plus can be applied using either of the following settings:
Medium pressure corresponds to approximately level 4–6 on a Hotronix® heat press. Remove the adhesive carrier hot when printing standard cotton, polyester and compatible blended fabrics. When printing 100% nylon, allow the material to cool fully and remove the carrier cold.
Always follow the garment manufacturer's care instructions and test the temperature, pressure and pressing time before producing a complete order.
