Fabric coatings, waterproof treatments and heat sensitivity can affect adhesion. A test application should therefore always be completed before beginning a larger production run.
Unlike many standard heat transfer films, Premium Plus can also be applied to suitable 100% nylon garments. This makes Aqua 360 a practical option for sports bags, jackets, team clothing and lightweight outerwear.
When applying the vinyl to nylon, allow the design and fabric to cool completely before removing the carrier. Nylon products may contain water-repellent or dirt-resistant coatings, so testing adhesion before production is especially important.
The pressure-sensitive carrier makes Premium Plus easy to weed, even when a design contains small lettering, thin lines or separate graphic elements. Details remain securely positioned while excess vinyl is removed, helping to improve accuracy and reduce production time.

Cut the design in reverse and weed away the unwanted vinyl. Position the design on the garment with the transparent carrier facing upwards, then apply it using one of the following settings:
Medium pressure corresponds to approximately level 4–6 on a Hotronix® heat press. On cotton, polyester and other standard compatible fabrics, remove the carrier while hot. For 100% nylon, allow the material to cool completely and use a Cold Peel.
Always follow the garment manufacturer’s care instructions and test the temperature, pressure and application time before producing multiple items.
