As fabrics can contain different coatings, treatments and heat-sensitive fibres, we always recommend carrying out a test press before starting a larger production run.
Unlike many standard flex films, Premium Plus can also be applied to 100% nylon. This makes Apple Green 421 an excellent option for sports bags, jackets, teamwear, promotional products and other nylon-based items.
When applying the vinyl to nylon, allow the garment and transfer to cool completely before removing the carrier. Premium Plus therefore requires Cold Peel on nylon. Always test coated or water-repellent nylon first, as surface treatments can influence adhesion.
The adhesive carrier makes STAHLS' CAD-CUT Premium Plus easy to handle during production. Small letters, thin lines and separate design elements remain securely positioned while unwanted vinyl is removed.
The material can be cut using standard cutting plotters and is suitable for everything from individual personalised T-shirts to larger professional production runs involving workwear, sportswear and branded merchandise.
Cut your design in mirror image, weed away the excess vinyl and place the design onto the garment with the adhesive carrier facing upwards. Premium Plus can then be applied using either of the following settings:
Medium pressure corresponds to approximately level 4–6 on a Hotronix® heat press. On standard compatible textiles, remove the carrier while hot. When applying to 100% nylon, use Cold Peel and wait until the material has completely cooled.
