Make sure your heat press provides even heat and consistent pressure across the entire design. Seams, buttons, zips and pockets can interfere with pressure, so a suitable heat press pillow may be useful on uneven garments.
Always carry out a test press before beginning larger production runs, particularly when working with technical polyester garments or textiles with specialised surface treatments.
