These laser protective glasses are marked with a wavelength range of 190 to 510 nm and an optical density of OD7+. They are intended only for compatible laser wavelengths where OD7+ satisfies the protection requirements established by the equipment documentation and workplace risk assessment.
The stated range does not cover common 532 nm green lasers, 1064 nm infrared lasers or 10,600 nm CO2 lasers. Always confirm the laser’s exact wavelength and required protection level before using the glasses. A zippered storage case is included.

These laser protective glasses are marked for wavelengths between 190 and 510 nm, with a stated optical density of OD7+. They are designed for use with compatible laser sources operating within this specified range.
Laser eyewear must always be selected according to the exact wavelength, output power, operating mode and exposure conditions of the equipment. The stated wavelength range alone is not sufficient to determine whether a particular pair of glasses meets the requirements of an individual machine or workplace.
The marked range covers wavelengths from 190 to 510 nm. Subject to the required optical density and a suitable safety assessment, this can include selected ultraviolet, violet and blue laser sources, such as:
The glasses must not be assumed to provide protection against wavelengths outside the marked range. This includes several commonly used laser sources:
They should therefore not be recommended for a 1064 nm infrared module or described as compatible with every xTool laser apart from the P2.
OD7+ describes the stated optical density of the filter within its specified protection range. A higher optical density indicates greater attenuation of laser radiation at the relevant wavelength.
Optical density must be considered together with the laser’s wavelength, power, pulse characteristics and potential exposure duration. Consult the laser manufacturer’s safety instructions or a qualified laser safety adviser to establish the necessary protection level.
Before wearing the glasses, confirm that the full emission range of the laser falls within 190 to 510 nm. This should include the primary beam and any additional aiming or alignment wavelengths produced by the equipment.
Inspect the lenses and frame before every use. Do not use the glasses if the filter or frame is cracked, deeply scratched, distorted or otherwise damaged. Keep them inside the supplied case when they are not being worn.
Laser protective glasses form only one part of a complete safety system. They do not replace machine enclosures, interlocks, extraction, operator training, controlled access or a documented risk assessment. Never intentionally look into a direct or reflected laser beam.
