Chemica Hotmark Revolution 304 Golden Yellow Heat Transfer Vinyl

Hotmark Revolution 304 Golden Yellow is a polyurethane heat transfer vinyl developed for textile lettering, logos and decorative graphics. Its warm golden yellow colour creates a noticeable finish that works well for promotional clothing, workwear, sportswear and personalised garments.

At only 75 μm thick, the applied film remains light and flexible on the textile. The semi-matte surface gives designs a clean appearance without the strong shine associated with glossy or metallic materials.

Thin and Flexible Textile Film

The flexibility of Hotmark Revolution allows the transferred design to move with the garment. This makes it useful for T-shirts, sweatshirts, sports clothing, bags and other textiles where a thicker film could feel too rigid.

The transparent adhesive polyester carrier keeps individual design elements in position after cutting and weeding. It can help when arranging lettering, detailed logos and graphics containing several separate pieces.

Suitable Textile Materials

Chemica lists Hotmark Revolution for use on a wide range of fabrics, including:

  • Cotton garments
  • Polyester textiles
  • Polycotton blends
  • Nylon fabrics using the dedicated two-stage application process

Textile treatments, coatings and dyes can affect adhesion or cause colour migration. Always perform a cutting and application test on the actual garment before beginning a larger production run.

Applications for Golden Yellow 304

The golden yellow shade can be used by professional garment decorators, small businesses and hobby users. Typical applications include:

  • Company names and logos on workwear
  • Numbers, names and graphics on sportswear
  • Event clothing and promotional garments
  • Decorative designs on T-shirts and sweatshirts
  • Personalised textile bags and accessories
  • Small lettering and detailed single-colour designs

Shade 304 Golden Yellow has a warmer appearance than the brighter 313 Lemon Yellow. Keep the colour code as part of your records when ordering more material for an existing project.

Cutting and Preparing the Design

  1. Perform a test cut to confirm the correct blade force and depth.
  2. Place the film in the cutting plotter with the carrier facing away from the blade.
  3. Mirror the design before cutting.
  4. Use a suitable 45° flex blade.
  5. Weed away the unwanted film while leaving the finished design on the carrier.
  6. Position the design on the garment and apply it with a heat press.

A test cut is especially valuable for small lettering and fine details. The blade should cut through the polyurethane layer without cutting completely through the polyester carrier.

Heat Press Settings

Quick application 140°C for 5 seconds
Low-temperature application 120°C for 20 seconds
Nylon, first press 140°C for 5 seconds

Choose the application method that suits the textile and your production process. Always confirm that the garment can tolerate the selected temperature and carry out a test before applying the finished design.

Washing and Caring for Decorated Garments

Wait at least 24 hours after application before washing the garment for the first time. Wash it inside out, avoid bleach and aggressive cleaning products, and follow the care instructions supplied with the textile.

Chemica’s technical sheet shows washing temperatures of 40°C and 60°C, depending on the textile and application. Use the lower temperature for nylon and other sensitive materials. Iron the garment from the reverse side and make sure the selected care settings are suitable for every component of the finished item.

Storage Recommendations

Store the film vertically in a dry room at approximately 15°C to 30°C, away from direct sunlight. Chemica recommends a maximum storage period of one year when the material is kept under suitable conditions.
