The Brother Innov-is NV2700 brings sewing, quilting and embroidery together in one computerised machine. Its combination of built in designs, automated sewing functions and digital connectivity makes it suitable for dressmaking, home textiles, quilting, monograms, decorative stitching and personalised embroidery.
A generous sewing workspace and an embroidery field measuring up to 260 × 160 mm provide room for both everyday work and larger decorative designs. The machine can be controlled through its colour touchscreen, while embroidery files can be transferred using a USB flash drive or compatible wireless services.
The NV2700 includes 291 built in sewing stitches, covering practical, decorative and quilting applications. Among the available options are 10 styles of one step buttonhole and five sewing fonts for creating lettering and decorative details.
With My Custom Stitch, you can create and save original decorative stitch patterns. Stitch length, width and density can be adjusted through the machine, allowing stored patterns to be reused on future projects.
The maximum embroidery area is 260 × 160 mm. Brother supplies an extra large 260 × 160 mm embroidery frame and a second 180 × 130 mm frame, giving you a choice of working sizes for different projects.
The machine contains 258 embroidery designs and 13 embroidery fonts. It also offers 10 frame shapes with 14 border styles, providing additional options for monograms, names, decorative motifs and framed designs.
The full colour touchscreen measures approximately 4.9 inches. Designs can be previewed before embroidery begins, making it easier to check their arrangement and overall appearance.
Editing functions allow you to resize, rotate, mirror and combine designs directly on the screen. You can also adjust the layout and zoom in for a closer view of detailed areas.
The NV2700 provides several ways to transfer compatible embroidery files. A built in USB port accepts files from a USB flash drive, while wireless LAN connectivity supports digital transfers without requiring the machine to remain connected to a computer by cable.
Designs can be sent from a Windows computer using Brother's Design Database Transfer software. The machine also works with the Brother Artspira app, which provides compatible design and transfer features through supported mobile devices and tablets.
Brother's SFDS Square Feed Drive System supports smooth and controlled fabric movement. The ICAPS fabric sensor monitors changes in fabric thickness and adjusts presser foot pressure as you sew.
